According to FHKI an earlier survey by the Pearl River Delta Industrial Association under FHKI, about 13% of the interviewed companies indicated that they planned to move the factory to Southeast Asia in response to the Covid-19. Coupled with the new situation in the international economic environment, Hong Kong businessmen should deploy matters such as production line transfer as soon as possible to explore overseas markets such as Southeast Asia.

FHKI continued to point out that Thailand has always been an important trading partner of Hong Kong, and the local government launched "Thailand 4.0" and "EEC Eastern Economic Corridor" plus "GMS The Greater Mekong Subregion" and other favorable policy support, all of which are Hong Kong and Thailand. Enterprises in both places bring huge business opportunities.
