The Guangzhou Nansha International Cold Chain Project was officially capped. As an important support for the construction of Guangzhou's port-type national logistics hub, Guangzhou Port Co., Ltd. plans to invest 3.5 billion yuan to build the country's largest port-side cold chain warehouse group with a capacity of 460,000 tons and a comprehensive cold chain logistics distribution base-Guangzhou Nansha International cold chain project will deeply radiate the urban agglomerations in southern China, the Pearl River Delta region and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, creating a full-chain cold chain logistics structure with Nansha International Logistics Center as the "cold chain home port".
It is understood that the Nansha International Cold Chain Project is a construction project in the southern area of Guangzhou Nansha International Logistics Center. The Guangzhou Nansha International Logistics Center is located on the east side of Haikou Avenue, Longxue Island, Nansha District. It is constructed in two phases, North and South. The total land area is 321,000 square meters, and the total construction area is about 950,000 square meters. The total planned investment is over 5.1 billion yuan. The project will rely on the trunk line transportation advantages of port and rail to establish a comprehensive cold chain logistics base.

The Nansha International Cold Chain Project is scheduled to be put into operation in early 2021, with a total investment of 1.87 billion yuan in the first phase of the project. It is planned to construct three 8-storey cold storages, a cold storage yard, and a supporting display building, with a total storage capacity of 227,000 tons, and ground cold storage containers yard can accommodate 430TEU and is equipped with 1880 cold-plug slots. The second phase of the project plans to build 3 cold storages, which are arranged along the road from north to south, and the space layout is resonable and efficient. The project is mainly equipped with -23 ℃ low temperature cold storage room, 0 ℃ high temperature cold storage room and 0 ℃ through the hall and full-temperature zone independent compartment cold storage, which can provide customers with frozen and refrigeration, bonded inspection, processing and distribution, commodity display transactions, supply chain finance, etc. One-stop service, the Guangzhou Nansha International Cold Chain Project is mainly engaged in high-quality meat, aquatic products, fruits and vegetables and other bulk livelihoods. With the natural advantage of being located in the core economic zone of the Pearl River Delta, cold chain goods pass outward through high-speed highways network , covering the Pearl River Delta urban city agglomeration in 1 hour, leading to all parts of the country.
Guangzhou is an important agricultural product distribution center in Guangdong Province and even the whole country. For example, the well-known Guangzhou Jiangnan Fruit Wholesale Market accounts for 70% of the national imported fruit trading volume. The aquatic product trading in the Huangsha Aquatic Product Trading Center radiates Guangdong Province and surrounding areas. Industry output value accounts for 1/4 of Guangdong Province.

The operating status of the equipment makes the monitoring and management of the refrigeration system safer, more reliable, energy-saving, flexible and efficient.
