China, Kazakhstan to add 12 cross-border points

AN agreement between China and Kazakhstan has been reached to add 12 cross-border transport highways in Urumqi, reported Xinhua.

The agreement will make it easier for more goods and people to cross the two countries borders.

The number of checkpoints between the two nations now stands at 28 following the addition of the new ones.

Vice Director of the Communications Department of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, Luo Jianxin, said the new checkpoints will make travelling between the two countries a better experience for drivers.
