AADA to hike China-Australia rate US$250/TEU on January 15
THE Asia Australia Discussion Agreement (AADA) has announced
that its member lines will levy a US$250 per TEU and $500 per FEU rate increase
for
all dry and refrigerated cargo shipped from mainland China
and Hong Kong to Australia from January 15.
The rate increase will be in addition to the current market rates and will be subject to accessorial surcharges applicable at the time of shipment, according to an AADA statement. AADA members are CSCL, Hanjin, Hamburg Sud, Hyundai Merchant Marine, "K" Line, Maersk, MSC, MOL, NYK, OOCL, Gold Star and Zim.
